Teaching artist colleagues from across the region met for a relaxed retreat near the halfway point of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania’s Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside Harrisburg. They enjoyed inspiring keynotes, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities, and art making activities during this day-and-a-half professional development event.
Intended for teaching artists of all experience levels working in K-12 education settings, this retreat was designed to:
help you build your business as a teaching artist
inspire and rejuvenate your creative practice
introduce big-picture trends in arts education, and help you adapt them to your practice
connect you with colleagues across the Mid-Atlantic region
